After an initial derive through the city each participant will make a new typographical map of Dublin (influenced by pychogeography - a technique of rapid passage through varied ambiences) through collage and drawing bringing emotion, sound depiction, the weather and experience of the derive into their mapping creations.
Po spacerze po Dublinie, każdy z uczestników stworzy nową typograficzną mapę miasta ( w oparciu o technikę psycho-geografii, polegającą na szybkim przemieszczaniu się przez zmieniające się otoczenie). Zastosowanie kolażu i rysunku posłuży wyrażeniu zaobserwowanych wrażeń emocji, dźwięków, warunków atmosferycznych w stworzonej “mapie”.
Tutor: Seoidín O’Sullivan/ Ireland - Based in Dublin, her art practice investigates socio-political and ecological narratives, which she represents in critically engaged and poetic ways. Working within a group—an art community or with a fellow artist—is an essential parameter of Seoidín’s work. |
